Life Legacy
Lori (McAninch) Yeager, 45 of Mt. Ayr, Iowa and a former resident of Albany, Missouri, passed away, Friday, January 13, 2012.
Lori, the daughter of Eugene and Shirley (Jones) McAninch was born August 10, 1966 in Albany, Missouri.
In 1985, she graduated from Albany High School. After graduating, she started working at the Gentry County Bank in Albany.
On September 22, 1990, Lori married Brian Yeager. They were married for 7 years. To this union one daughter, Maisie was born.
In 1997, she moved to Mt. Ayr, Iowa. She worked for US Bank, Mt. Ayr Schools as a cook and for Head Start. While living in Mt. Ayr, she met Robert Taylor. They have a daughter, Kylee.
Lori will be remembered for being an awesome mom, daughter, sister, aunt and granddaughter, loving everyone and having a great smile.
Survivors: Daughters, Maisie Yeager, Albany; Kylee Taylor, Mt. Ayr, IA; step-son, Brett Taylor, Mt. Ayr; Parents, Gene & Shirley McAninch, Albany; Grandmother, Velma Mae Jones, King City; Sister, Julie (Dennis) Carlson, St. Joseph; brother, Michael McAninch, Blue Springs, MO; Niece, Lauren Carlson, St. Joseph; Aunts, Uncles,Cousins and numerous friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 Tuesday.
