Alice June Gibson, 84 of Albany passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Albany. June was born March 9, 1926 in Harrison County to Jay & Lucille (Updegraff) Patrick. On June 5, 1944, she was united in marriage to Clever D. Gibson. He preceded her in death August 28, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister and an infant son. June worked at the Albany Hy-Vee Store for 20 years. She enjoyed helping people and taking care of her grandsons when growing up and her great-grandchildren when health permitted. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl (Jim) Coburn, Albany; grandsons, Doug (Tracy) Coburn, Albany; Dan (Debbie) Coburn, New Hampton; great-grandchildren, Cody and Colton Coburn, New Hampton; Jacob Coburn and Brad Waldeier, Albany; Andrea (Bryan) Nalle, St. Joseph; Sisters, Jean Lundy, Holt; Mary Louise (Russell) Barnes, Savannah, MO; cousin, Joe (Kathy) Boulting who lived with them for a while when growing up; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
