Ann Yarrington, 88 of Albany passed away June 30, 2011 in Albany. Ann was born July 19, 1922 in Odessa, Texas to Jeff and Dicie Patterson. On June 18, 1945, Ann was united in marriage to Al Yarrington. He preceded her in death October 13, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents. In 1950, Ann began working for the Gentry County Bank in Albany, retiring in the early 1990's. She was a member of the Albany First Christian Church, Esther Chapter #13 of the Order of Eastern Star, BPW Club, Athena Club, Rotary Club all of Albany and the Women's Bankers Association. Ann had served as Secretary to the Rotary Club and the Eastern Star. Survivors include Cousin, Norma Kinman, Dallas, TX; Special Friend, Roger Bishop, Albany and may other friends and co-workers of the Gentry County Bank who worked with her for many years. Ann was well known for her beautiful clothing, high heel shoes and her friendly smile at the Gentry County Bank. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and playing bridge with the ladies.
