Anne Mercer, 79 of Darlington, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Carriage Square in St. Joseph, Missouri. Anne, the daughter of Shannon Orville and Cecil Juanita (Rynearson) Fore was born February 8, 1936 in St. Joseph, Missouri. On May 23, 1953, Anne was united in marriage to Garnett D. Mercer. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Jennifer Weishaar. Survivors: sons, Steve (Marlene) Mercer, King City; Frank (Elaine) Mercer, Russell, KS; Shannon Mercer, Columbia, MO; daughter, Elaine (Fred) Taylor, New Orleans, LA; son-in-law, Eugene Weishaar, Wathena, KS; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service and Burial: 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 25 at the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM Monday at the chapel.
