Anne Doolin (Pile) Hogue, 57 of Albany, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at a St. Joseph hospital. Anne, the daughter of Marshall Wilcox and Mary Frances (Doolin) Pile was born September 20, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dana Pile On January 5, 1972, Anne was united in marriage to Robert Hogue. To this union two children were born, Tucker and Brooke. Anne graduated from Albany High School. She had a passion for decorating and quilting, which led her to earn her BS Degree in Interior Design from the University of Missouri in Columbia. Anne pleased people through her cooking. Her earliest venture into food preparation was strictly on a hobby scale, preparing large holiday meals for her college friends who couldn't return to their homes for the holidays. After returning to Albany, Anne began her food service career with Annie's Pantry, a catering service, The Clay Street Deli and also Frosty's Diner. In 1986, she published the Clay Street Deli Cookbook. At the present time, she was serving as a food service sales representative for US Food Service in Kansas City. Anne was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church. Known as a "foodie" to her colleagues, Anne was very fond of her current employer, US Food Service. They have been very supportive to her and her family over the last few days.
