Bernice Barber Craven, 97 of Albany, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Albany. Bernice, the daughter of Frank and Katie (Baker) Sego was born on September 20, 1915 in Denver, Missouri. On July 9, 1938, Bernice was united in marriage to Clifford Barber. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1988. Bernice married Ronald Craven on October 9, 1991. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Donnie and Larry Barber, granddaughter, Barbara Barber, step-son, Larry Craven, brother, Harold Sego and a sister, Maxine Combs. Bernice was a homemaker and a member of the Albany First Baptist Church. Survivors: Son, Eddie (Jeanie) Barber, New Hampton, MO; daughters, Jeanette (Russell) Crane, Albany; Addie Kay (Ron) Soltys, St. Joseph, MO; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Barber, Kearney, MO; step-sons, Greg (Audra) Craven; Brady (Nan) Craven; Mark Craven; step-daughter, Betty (Wayman) Bonham, all of Liberty, MO; sister, Agnes Everett and brother, Robert (Darlene) Sego all of Raytown, MO; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 12 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Wednesday.
