Bessie Redman, 81, of Darlington, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany .

Bessie, the daughter of Glenn H. and Zelma Ruth (Evans) Allenbrand, was born June 9, 1934 in Gentry County , Missouri .

On October 19, 1956, Bessie was united in marriage to John Redman.

Bessie worked for Old American Insurance in Albany and Kansas City and for American Century Investments in Kansas City . She was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church .

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Verta Jane Allenbrand, and a brother, Glenn E. Allenbrand.

Survivors: husband, John Redman, Darlington; daughter, Pam (Ronnie Roach) Fish, Darlington; grandchildren, Dale (Faith) Anthony, Codi (Dorian) Middleton, Matthew (Kristina) Fish, John (Kasey) Fish; great-grandchildren, Finnlee and Frankie Anthony, Isaiah and Tyrell Middleton, Gabriel Hermes, Bella and Lucy Fish, Carter and Evan Fish; brothers, Bobbie Allenbrand, Maryville; Larry (Sharon) Allenbrand, Albany; sister, Ruth Quinn, Albany; several nieces and nephews.
