Betty Rosalie Payne, 81 of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at King City Manor. Betty, the daughter of Russell and Mary Emily (Williams) Wilson was born April 27, 1934 in Albany, Missouri. On August 1, 1952, Betty was united in marriage to Ronald G. Payne. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Johnny and Charles Fielding Wilson and granddaughters, Keri Beth and Staci Michelle Hansel. For several years Betty worked as a secretary for the Albany Regional Center and the Albany First Baptist Church, where she was also a member. Survivors: daughters, Susan (David) Hansel, Albany; Sonya (Hal) Owens, Albany; grandsons, Kris (Staci) Hansel; Ryan (Krissy) Hansel; Brent Owens (Brittany Allen); step-granddaughter, Winter Owens; great-grandchildren, Marley Hansel; Sophia and Layla Hansel and Abrielle Owens; sister, Pat Snead, Albany; brothers, Ross Wilson, Mt. Moriah, MO: DeWayne Wilson, Gravette, AR; Jim, Bill and Gene Wilson, all of Albany; many nieces and nephews. Graveside Service and Burial: 10:30 AM Saturday, October 24, at the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, where friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM on Saturday.
