Bobby Gale Wilson, 89, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany, Missouri.

Bobby was born near Albany to AK " Brack " and Pearl Redman Wilson on September 18, 1927. Bobby graduated from Albany High School in 1945. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy. He returned home, and then in 1955 joined the Army.

After serving in the Armed Forces, Bobby came home and went to work for Ed Kersey ' s Service Station. In 1961, Bobby went to work for the Albany Post Office as a city carrier. During his time at the Post Office, Bobby and his brother, Junior Wilson, owned and operated Brack ' s 66 Service Station, located south of Albany, as well as worked at the Pepsi-Cola bottling plant. On January 28, 1995, Bobby retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier.

Bobby was a member of the Lone Star Baptist Church and Athens Lodge #127 A.F. & A.M. of Albany.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, AK " Brack " Junior, LeRoy, Dale and Max. Sister, Cleta Louise, stepdaughter, Billie Stagner Wingfield.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeane. Additional survivors
