Brian Joe Meyer, 57, of Denver, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at his home.

Brian was born June 18, 1960 to Lorn (Shorty) Charles Meyer and Ida Marie Fraser in Maryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Patrick, Charles, Lorna, Jack and Fred Meyer.

Brian graduated from Maryville High School.  He attended a diesel mechanic school in Council Bluffs, Iowa where he received a degree in diesel mechanics. Previously, Brian worked as a diesel mechanic, also for Maytag and the railroad.  At the time of his death, Brian was employed by Johnson Controls in St. Joseph, where he started his career there in October of 2010.  He served in the Army National Guard for 12 years.

Survivors: wife, Debbie Meyer; sons, BJ; Benny (Cat); John Meyer; daughters, Modanna Meyer; Anna-Marie Meyer; grandchildren, Caden Achterberg; Gracelyn Gilbert; Logan Meyer; step-daughters, Tisha Wiley; Traci Owens; siblings, Patty (Tim) Donner; Jim (Joann) Meyer; Mike (Sheryl) Meyer; Becky (Mark) Conn; Linda Bartlett; Charleen Saunders;

nieces and nephews.
