Carroll Lee Rhoad, 78 of Gentry, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at King City Manor after a long illness. Carroll, the only child of Lee and Bea (Gregory) Murrell was born November 25, 1936 in Stanberry, Missouri. Her parents preceded her in death. On October 9, 1955, Carroll married Gisty Lee Rhoad. Gisty preceded her in death on December 24, 2012. She was a wife, homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ Church in Worth, Missouri. Carroll enjoyed playing the guitar throughout her life. She collected religious and country-western songs. Since childhood, Carroll searched and treasured her collection of the rare 4 leaf clovers. Survivors: brother-in-law, Everett (Ruthann) Rhoad, King City; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou (Robert) Riney, Aurora, IL; Joyce English, Kansas City, MO; Linda (Jim) Mason, Maysville, MO; Laura (Steve) Gerdes, Elwood, KS; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Thursday, March 5 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Old Brick Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 8:00 AM on Thursday.
