Chad Ross, age 57, passed away suddenly at the family home on January 7, 2023. Born on November 7, 1965, Chad was the second child born to C. Richard Ross and Marcia (Ashlock) Ross.
A family service will be held at a later date. Online condolences: www.robersonpolleychapel.com
Chad was a man of many talents. He was smart and creative. He could build or fix anything. He was a mechanic, auto body, fantastic carpenter and plumber and electrician when pressed into service. Just show him a picture or a schematic and he was on the job. He was a tireless worker even after his earlier health problems forced him to leave the work force and was always tinkering around in the shed with something.
Chad had a soft sensitive side under his rough and tumble exterior. His family was his true love in life and always put family first. He greatly loved his children and was so proud of them. He had a most wicked sense of humor and a laugh that could carry you through the worst of times. He believed in laughing often even at himself.
Left to mourn his loss are his children, Emily Ross of Albany, MO: Ericka (Colton) Parkhurst of Albany, MO: Chad Franklin Ross of Albany, MO: and Kohlton Ross of Crystal City, MO: brothers Kris (Danita), Fenton, MO: Richard, House Springs, MO: sisters Sherry (Nick) Trayanoff, Fenton, MO: Dana Long, Darlington, MO: Mother Marcia (Ashlock) Ross, Darlington, MO. Grandchildren who will miss their pawpaw are Bentley, Peyton, Brynnley, Ayden, Adalynn, Emersyn and Rory. A number of close friends particularly Jim Rains.
Chad was preceded in death by his father, Charles Richard Ross, sister-in-law, Julie Ross and also his grandparents, Frank and Lucille Ashlock of Darlington, MO and Golda Ross of Jackson, MO and Thornton Ross.
The memory of Chad's smile, laugh, and the mischievous twinkle in his eye may be gone from our lives, but the memories, those wonderful memories will be forever ours to hold.
