Charlene Ruth Clark, 95, of Albany , Missouri , passed away to be with our Lord on June 2, 2016 in San Luis Obispo , California . Charlene was born October 11, 1920 in Gentry County , Missouri to Charles Elmer and Retha Jewell (Long) Needels.

Charlene married Argolis Glenn Clark on June 13, 1941. "AG" preceded her in death in May 1995, her daughter, Carolynn Earixson in 2011 and her sisters, Vera Mae and Nadine.

Charlene is survived by two sons, Charles (Cathy) Clark, San Luis Obispo, CA; Glenn Clark, Albany; Terry Earixson, Albany; grandchildren, Anne, Suzanne (Ken), Dennis (Kolu), Ashley (Chris), Corey, Megan, Shawn, Nicholas (Crystal); great-grandchildren, Cynthia, Kyle, Austin, Nathan, Emily, Katrina, Gavin, Logan and Garrett; great-great-grandchildren, Bella and Lana; nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.

Charlene lived a very rich and blessed life and worked hard all her life. She had many occupations, including "Cherry Mash", Crystal Cathedral, Van Houton's Elevator, Clark's Tire Corral and The Corner Deli where she greeted and enjoyed her many friends and bridge partners. She always loved a great card game!

Charlene was a long time member of the Albany Christian Church, Albany Senior Center, Gentry County Historical Society and helped many folks to read and write through her volunteer work with the literacy council. Her last six months were in California and she enjoyed many gatherings and parties with all of her family and shared many fun stories. She was always laughing and had that great smile. While she was in the hospital, the nurses called her "Sunshine" as she always brightened their day!

Charlene will be greatly missed by her family and all of her great friends.
