Charles G. Burton, 74, of Albany, Missouri, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at his home. Charlie was born July 13, 1944 in Gentry County, Missouri, the son of Clarence Marion and Anna Evelyn (Wood) Burton.
On October 14, 1967 he married Hazel Ruby Boulting. She preceded him in death December 23, 2000.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, twin infant sons, son, Chuck Burton, brothers, Donald, Robert, Jimmy and Wesley Burton, sisters, Gladys Lininger and Betty Walker.
Charlie worked as a material handler for Rival Manufacturing and as a farmhand for James Robert and Sandy Gillespie. He was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Debbie Burton-Sutton of the home; step-daughter, Barbara (Randy) Adcock, Stanberry; adopted daughters, Tosha, Regina and Samantha Burton; step-son, Ronnie (Michelle) Lininger, New Hampton; granddaughters, Tarci Burton, Laecie Rae and Shandolyn Workman; grandson, Clarance Burton; brothers, Marion and Harold Burton; sisters, Louise Moad, Sharon Dahl, Barbara King and Elizabeth Butterfield; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Friday, March 1 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Thursday. Memorial Contributions: Charles G.
