Clifton Eugene "Gene" Boyd, the son of Clifton F. and Nora Maude (Lile) Boyd was born August 15, 1918 in Dekalb County, Missouri and passed away at North Care Hospice on September 15, 2012 at the age of 94. Gene spent his entire adult life on farms in Gentry County. He lived in and around the Gentryville area until 1965, when he moved closer to Albany. On November 15, 1942, he was united in marriage to Eunice Beatrice Barber. She preceded him in death on March 25, 1999. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ralph D. Boyd. Gene was a farmer. He loved spending time with his great-grandchildren, Austin and Addison and visiting with everyone. He was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church. Survivors: Son, Gary E. Funeral Service: 2:30 PM, Saturday, September 22 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.
