Collette Barger, 98, of Albany, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Pine View Manor in Stanberry. Collette was born January 27, 1920 in Gentry County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Jessie and Verda (Dills) Jones.

Collette married Lloyd "Badger" Barger August 22, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas.  He preceded her in death January 31, 1978.

She graduated from Albany High School in 1938.  For 30 years, Collette was a bookkeeper for MFA in Albany.  She was a member of the Albany First Christian Church, served as treasurer for the church, Keystone Sunday School Class, Albany Senior Center and Henton Cemetery.

Survivors: cousins, Margaret Adams, St. Joseph, MO; Carole Jean Payne, Trenton, MO; Margaret Hogan, Spickard, MO; several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Friday, November 16 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Friday morning.
