David French Wells, 63 of Albany passed away Monday, November 3, 2008. David was born June 9, 1945 in Sedan, Kansas. He was the son of Elmer Edward "Tiny" and Helen Lucille (DeFever) Wells. They preceded him in death. Dave was united in marriage to Ruth Ann "Freddie" Duvall on August 19, 1977. To this union two sons were born, Gordon and Alexander. After 37 years of service as a Conservation Agent for the Missouri Department of Conservation, Dave retired December 1, 2007. Dave was a devoted husband and father, but more than that, he devoted his life to the conservation of the earth's resources. He believed that educating people about how to be good stewards of the environment was the best way to preserve the planet. Those efforts will be missed, but those he educated will carry on the cause. Neese, Nashville, TN; Nieces, Julie Wells and Susan Wildeman; Nephews, Rich Wells, Robert Duvall, Pell Duvall, Tim Duvall, Kevin Duvall, Robert and Benjamin Neese and several great-nieces and nephews.
