Debra Lou (Buntin) Redmond-Burton, the daughter of Jack L. and Dorothy L. (Spence) Buntin was born April 17, 1955 in Bethany, Missouri and passed away at her home on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the age of 57. On May 18, 1973, Debra married Robert Redmond. To this union three children were born. Jason Redmond of Albany, Bradley Redmond, St. Joseph and Amy Cassidy and husband Dirk of Stanberry. Debra married Wesley Burton, November 11, 1997. Together they had a daughter, Leeanna Burton. They survive of the home in Albany. Besides her husband and children, she is also survived by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Buntin, Stanberry; step-son, Jonathan Burton; grandchildren, Kyle & Tyler Redmond, Savannah Baker, Sylvia Redmond, Gavyn Redmond, Emily & Logan Cassidy and Zoey Smith; brothers, Bruce Buntin, Clarksdale; Kregg and Chuck Buntin, both of Stanberry and Jesse Buntin, Stewartsville. Debra was a 1973 graduate of Stanberry High School. In 1990, she graduated from Trenton College with her RN degree in nursing. She worked for several area nursing homes until health issues required her to cut short the career she loved dearly. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday September 14, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Thursday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM Thursday.
