Ermil "DEE" LIPPINCOTT

Dee Lippincott, was the son of Edgar Lippincott and Claudia Ethel "Ruth" Rodgers of Stanberry, Missouri, was born January 29, 1930 in Milan, MO at "Mutton Ridge Ranch." He passed away at Pine View Manor in Stanberry, MO on March 3, 2021 at the age of 91.

His parents moved to Stanberry in August 1939 from Milan, MO. He went to High School in Stanberry, MO and graduated in the class of 1948. After high school, he went to Northwest Missouri State University and graduated in 1952 in Maryville, MO. He majored in Music/English and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. His first teaching job was in Creston, Iowa for one year. Then he went to Owosso, Michigan in a parochial boarding church school at Spring Vale Academy. He taught classes and was also the Dean of Boys for two years.

In 1955 he moved to California and married one of his students from Spring Vale Academy, Birmah Glenn Finley on June 12, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA. They had three children, Susan, Pamela, and Sheryl. He taught school in California 12 years. He decided to change his career and he went into Computer Programming in California, Maryland, Florida, Washington D.C., and Virginia under government contracts for many years. He retired from Martin Marietta after 10 years.

He was married to Maria Noemy Arguello Munoz of Alajuela, Costa Rica on September 21, 1971 in Virginia Beach, VA, where he raised three stepchildren, Richard, Luis, and Susie.

He married Mary Jane Emerson of St. Petersburg, FL in 1993. She was the daughter of Orville and Ruth Emerson of Michigan, former missionary to Bogota, Colombia, South America to the street children. They moved to Florida after retirement in 1998. Eventually they sold their home in St. Cloud, FL and moved to Albany, MO and bought a home, where he built a Wood Shop and enjoyed woodworking. He cared for 18 fruit trees, nuts, apricots, apples, and pears.

Dee was President of the Lippincott Reunion for several years at the Albany Community Center. He joined the Toastmasters for several years learning to deliver speeches with ease and accuracy.

They were members of the Albany Christian Church, with Rev. George Morey.

Survivors include children: Susan Joyce (Chris ) Hyder, Cleveland, TN; Pamela Lynn Dauer,  Virginia Beach, VA; Sheryl Jean (Mike) Romines, Boulder City, NV; stepchildren, Richard Joseph Warner (Laura), Columbia, MO; Luis Guillermo Warner-Krzyzanoski, Springfield, VA; Susana (Susie) Florita Warner, Fairfield, CA; numerous nieces and nephews in Missouri and Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sean Romines, Fairbanks, Alaska; Deanna Dauer, Virginia Beach, VA; Jonathan Dauer, Virginia Beach, VA; Curtis Dean Jr., TN; and Aaron Dean, TN. Great-Grandchildren, Rei Smith, Alaska; Destiny Dauer, Ernest Edward Miles III and Eadon Miles, Virginia Beach, VA; Matthew Harley Dean and Nicholas Aaron Dean, TN. sister, Lettie Mae (Lippincott) Siddens, Marceline, MO.

Dee was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Faye (Lippincott) Harris of Wisconsin, brother-in-law Mayne Harris, brother-in-law Keith Siddens and son-in-law Wesley Jude Dauer of VA.
