Dixie Lee, 79, of Darlington, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri. Dixie, the daughter of Ray and Grace (Wright) Brown was born August 20, 1939 in Antlers, Oklahoma.

On May 12, 1959, she was united in marriage to Dean Howard Lee Sr. He preceded her in death September 12, 1991.

She was also preceded in death by: her parents, sisters, Carol Hensley, Raedean Connor and Juanita Bain, brothers, Bob and Jack Brown.

Dixie worked as a restorative aid for Colonial Manor in Albany for 28 years. She attended the Gentry Baptist Church.

Survivors: Son, Dean Lee Jr., St. Joseph; daughters, Penny Atkison, Darlington; Tammy (Lewis) Jensen, Lincoln, CA; 3 grandsons and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a Memorial Graveside Service at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 10 at the Lloyd Cemetery, Mt. Moriah, Missouri.
