Donald Lewis Summa, 82 of Denver, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at an Albany nursing home. Donald was born October 10, 1929 in Worth County, Missouri. He was the son of Woodson and Inez (Mull) Summa. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Giles Summa and his sister, Winnifred East. On May 11, 1951, Donald was united in marriage to Louise McGinley. Before retiring, he worked as a machinist for Con Corp Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of the Denver Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Louise of the home; Son, Gareth (Tammy) Summa, Denver, MO; Daughter, Janet (Doyle) Sager, Jefferson City, MO; Son, David (Robin) Summa, Smithville, MO; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, August 18 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Miller Cemetery, Denver, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM Friday.
