Donnie Glen Hamilton Sr. 76 of Albany passed away, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at an Albany hospital. Donnie was born August 11, 1935 in Lone Star, Missouri. He was the son of Loren and Florence (Beckett) Hamilton. His parents preceded him in death. On December 1, 1957, Donnie was united in marriage to Velva Jean Beadle. She survives of the home in Albany. He is also survived by 3 sons, Don Junior Hamilton, King City; Gary Lee Hamilton and Terry Linn Hamilton, both of Albany; daughter, Connie Holcomb, Darlington; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several cousins. Before retiring, Donnie was a truck driver and also drove a school bus for the Albany School District. He was a member of the Lone Star Baptist Church, Honorary member of the Bikers For Benefits Charitable Organization and he loved to fish and hunt.
