Obituary

Dottie Kelso, 87 of Darlington, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry.

Dottie Kathryn Kelso was born Kathryn Wyanette Hadley, daughter of Anna May Smith and Ralph Allen Hadley on September 17, 1928 and was adopted by Bessie Lee (Whitmore) and Paul Shoemaker at the age of 3. She has one half sister Garnet Hadley Weese of Maysville, MO.

She was married to Bobby Gale Wilson from 1948 to 1953, had one daughter, Sandra Lee Mathews, Ash Grove, MO. In 1960, Dottie married Bill Kelso and had a son Billy Paul Kelso of Darlington. Also surviving are three grandchildren, April Sue Havens and Cody and Jason Kelso, two great-granddaughters, Jamie Adair and Chrisse Danille Treat and one great-great-granddaughter, Annie Adair and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service and Burial: 11:00 AM Friday, December 18 at the Rouse Cemetery, Darlington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, where friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Friday.
