Edna Joan Farnsworth, 70 of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at an Omaha, Nebraska hospital. Edna, the daughter of LeRoy and Beatrice (Durffee) Conyers was born May 20, 1944 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. On June 8, 1959, Edna was united in marriage to Larry Edgar Farnsworth. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her mother and two sisters and a grandson, Cory Farnsworth. Edna worked in housekeeping as a supervisor. Survivors: children, Kathy (Duane) Hoss, Rock Island, IL; Debbie (Kenny) Fitzgarrald, Omaha, NE; Larry Jr. (Karen) Farnsworth, Stanberry; Lisa Deemer, Dennison, IA; Bill (Ericka) Farnsworth, Omaha, NE; James (Katherine) Farnsworth, Troy, MO; Richard (Janelle) Farnsworth, Omaha, NE; sister, Mary (Bob) Martin, Magnolia, IA; brother, Larry (Jan) Conyers, San Antonio, TX; 26 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service and Burial: 2:00 PM Thursday, January 15 at the Hall Cemetery, Stanberry, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service on Thursday at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, where friends may call anytime after 11:00 AM on Thursday.
