Elsie M. Draper, 91 of Albany, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Albany. Elsie, the oldest of five children, was the daughter of John and Alva (Auxier) White was born November 26, 1922 in Lincoln, Nebraska. On October 17, 1938, Elsie was united in marriage to Duane Draper. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2009 after nearly 71 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Austin Draper, daughter, Barbara Hines, brothers, Ray and Kenny White and her sisters, Lois Holt and Helen Weaver. Elsie was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Albany. Survivors: daughters, Jackie (Don) Eastland, Elmo, MO; Elly (Al) Stevens, Omaha, NE; son, Richard (Karen) Draper, Albany, MO; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 2 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Tuesday. A luncheon will be provided following the funeral service at the Albany Seventh Day Adventist Church, 204 South 13th Street, Albany.
