Erma (Riche) Homan was born, October 2, 1922 in St. Joseph, Missouri to William H. and Bertha (Files) Riche and passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at the age of 94.
Erma graduated from Central High School and Platt - Gard Business University in St. Joseph.
She was united in marriage to Richard (Dick) Homan March 1, 1942 in Troy, Kansas. She and her husband Dick owned and operated the John Deere Dealership in Albany for over 30 years. Dick preceded her in death August 16, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and one brother.
Survivors: son, Rick and Susie (Wilson) Homan, St. Louis, MO; daughter, Denise and Bob McConkey, Albany, MO; grandchildren, Chris (Erika) Davis, Natalie (Nate) Adams, Katie (Douglas) Homan, Ashley (Levi) Dunbar, Allison (Dustin) Zumbehl, Quentin McConkey; great-grandchildren, Glenn, Audrie, Leo, Landon, Emily, Zane, Jenna, Skyler, Maggie and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, a charter member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, VFW Auxiliary, served two terms on the Albany School Board and had served as PTA President.
Erma loved playing with her grandbabies, playing bridge, tennis, crossword puzzles, traveling and cooked a lot of walleye and wild blueberry pies.
