Ester Charline McMillen, 92 of Albany passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Albany. Ester, the daughter of Ernest M and Lucy Dea (Richardson) Jasper was born March 20, 1921 in Ravenwood, Missouri. On May 10, 1942 Ester was united in marriage to John N. McMillen. To this union twin daughters were born, Sharen Kay and Karen Sue. John preceded her in death on October 26, 1971. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill and Hilen Jasper and a granddaughter, Melinda Jane Grace. Ester graduated from Stanberry High School and attended two years of college at Northwest. She taught in several country schools. She was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Esther Chapter #13 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors: daughters, Sharen (Gene) Wilson, Albany; Karen Hayes, Albany; grandchildren, Jay (Twyla) Hayes, Jamie (Paul) Sackett, Craig (Amy) Hayes, Julie (Scott) Carter, Jenny (Scott) Bonham, Sandy (Brian) Youngs, Mary Emily Miller; great-grandchildren, Ryanne Ling, Shelby & Riley Long, Trevor, Clint and Colton Carter, Easton Hayes, Sidney and Bailey Youngs, Kylie Bonham, Emily, Sophia, Lillian, Vivian and William Miller, Mackenzie, Gage and Gannon Sackett; great-great-granddaughter, Adalynn Hedrick; twin sister, Estel Reed, Culver City, CA; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Monday, April 29 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.
