Fencine Katie Moldenhauer, 89 of Albany, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her home. Fencine, the daughter of Tjeerd and Aaltje (Stuut) Nienhuis was born on March 3, 1925 in Devils Lake, North Dakota. On March 31, 1946, she was united in marriage to Pastor Ray Moldenhauer. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Fennie Schlenker, sisters, Tena Gjesdal and Rose Dais, brothers, Matthew and Edward Nienhuis. Fencine was a homemaker. She also worked for Dr. Albert Carlin in Stanberry doing medical coding before she retired. She was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day in Stanberry. Survivors: daughter, Darlene (Larry) King, Albany; sons, Jerry (Paula) Moldenhauer; Ken (Bonnie) Moldenhauer, both of Denver, CO; Ed (Jan) Moldenhauer, Albany; sisters, Catherine Carlin, Stanberry; Alice Sheffield, Galt, CA; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, September 20 at the Church of God Seventh Day in Stanberry with burial in the High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry. There is no scheduled family visitation, however friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Friday at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.
