Obituary

Forrest Cooper, 89, of Darlington, Missouri, passed away May 13, 2019 at his home.  Forrest was born March 4, 1930 in Stanberry, Missouri, the son of Charles Clint and Elsie Elizabeth (Johnson) Cooper.

On May 8, 1954, he was united in marriage to Natalie Redding. She preceded him in death March 19, 1919.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles Edward and Duane Cooper, sister Marcella Martin, grandson Derek Cooper, and his daughter-in-law Trish Cooper.

Forrest was a farmer and factory worker, retiring from the Mead Tablet Factory in St. Joseph.  He was a member of the Darlington Baptist Church and a past member of the Darlington Masonic Lodge.

Survivors: daughter, Shela (Ron) Hodge, Union Star, MO; sons, Ronnie Cooper, Darlington, MO; Randall (Maxine) Cooper, Anchor Point, AK; brother, Eugene (JoAnn) Cooper, Stanberry; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM Friday, May 17 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the chapel. Inurnment will be in the Rouse Cemetery in Darlington at a later date.  Memorial Contributions:  Rouse Cemetery or Darlington Baptist Church in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N.
