Frances Weddle, 70 of Albany, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Albany. Frances, the daughter of Alva and Adelia (Hicks) Ward was born December 18, 1941 in Matkins, Missouri. On December 20, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ronald Dale Weddle. He preceded her in death on October 6, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Dennis "Buck" Weddle, brothers, Sherman Buck Ward, Jim Ward, sisters, Ruby Holcomb, Artist Hardin, Nadine Beckett, May Cornshucker and Sarah Bourne. Frances graduated from Albany High School in 1960. She worked in the housekeeping department at the Gentry County Memorial Hospital for 15 years. Frances was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church. Survivors: Son, Harley Weddle, Albany; Daughter, Kathy (Victor) Russell, Albany; Grandchildren, Ronald Scott Weddle, Albany; Frank Weddle, Maryville; Caleb Weddle, Albany; Dana Weddle, Stanberry; Jessica Russell, Albany; Zach Weddle, Albany; one great-grandchild on the way; Brothers, Alfred (Pat) Ward, Newton, IA; Arnold (Suzanne) Ward, Albany; Allen "Willie" (Judy) Ward, Des Moines, IA; Brother-in-law, Jerry Hardin, Albany; Aunt, Bernie Keller, Newton, IA; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 30 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the White Oak Cemetery, Bethany. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel in Albany where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Monday at the chapel.
