Garrett Colton Hamilton, 33, of Albany, Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on February 18, 1991, in Trenton, Missouri, Garrett was the cherished son of Gary and Lisa (Ellis) Hamilton. He was a graduate of Albany RIII High School, class of 2010. Garrett was a member of the Darlington Baptist Church.

His proudest moment was becoming "Uncle G" to his nephew, Laken, a role he embraced with love and enthusiasm.

Garrett is survived by his parents, Gary and Lisa Hamilton of Albany; his sister, Courtney, and her husband Eldon Maxwell of Albany; his nephew, Laken Maxwell; maternal grandfather, Bob Ellis of Darlington, MO; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dell Ellis, and his paternal grandparents, Donnie and Jean Hamilton.

His legacy of kindness and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
