Gene Hager, 85 of Cameron, Missouri and a former resident of Pattonsburg, Missouri passed away, Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at a St. Joseph hospital. Gene was born October 1, 1926 in Gentryville, Missouri, the son of Jesse E. and Rowena (Myrick) Hager. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Eldon and Caryl Hager and sister, Cynthia Jones. Gene was a World War II Navy Veteran and a farmer. Survivors: Daughter, Cynthia (Dwayne) Strasheim of Hastings, NE; Granddaughter, Erin (Kenny) Gonzales, Broken Arrow, OK; Grandson, Brandon Conn, Lincoln, NE; Great-Grandchildren, Roriayn Gonzales and Liv Coleman; and one brother, Von (Evelyn) Hager, Holt, MO.
