Genette Hurkman, 59 of Albany passed away, Friday, December 23, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center in Albany. Genette, the daughter of Watson and Rosalie (Batson) Butterfield was born May 12, 1952 in Darlington, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Derek Cooper. For 37 years, Genette worked as a nursing assistant at Northwest Medical Center. Survivors: Sons, Chad (Jackie) Butterfield; Robbie (Shelly) Hurkman; Daughter, Jaclyn Hurkman all of Albany; Brothers, Alfred (Lib) Butterfield; Mike (Robin) Butterfield, both of Albany; Sisters, Ruby Butterfield, Gladstone, MO; Patricia (Ronnie) Cooper, Darlington; Pam Tracy, Albany; Grandchildren, Wyatt, Quentin and Kaitlyn Hurkman, and several nieces and nephews.
