George "Inky" Morey III, 78 of Empire Prairie, MO passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Northcare Hospice. George, the son of George Harris and Genevia (Cook) Morey was born October 22, 1934 in St. Joseph, Missouri. His parents preceded him in death. On January 23, 1954, George was united in marriage to Shirley Jeanne Miller. Shirley preceded him in death on July 20, 2012. For many years, George was an auto body repairman. He worked for various auto body repair shops in St. Joseph. He was a member of the Percheron Horse Association of America and a member of the Maxwell Heights Presbyterian Church of St. Joseph. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, August 16 at the Turning Point Church of the Nazarene, 5211 Frederick Avenue, St. Joseph. Burial Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.
