Georgia A. Smith, 92 of Albany passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at North Kansas City Hospital. Georgia, the daughter of Adolph and Anna M. (Jezek) Skroh was born March 3, 1917 in Cainsville, Missouri. On September 29, 1939, Georgia was united in marriage to L.C. Smith Jr. He preceded her in death December 18, 1970. She was also preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, George Skroh, brothers, Wallace and Paul Skroh and a great-grandson, Derreck Smith. She was a homemaker and had worked for Rival Manufacturing in Albany. Georgia was a member of the Albany First Christian Church and Esther Chapter #13 of the Order of the Eastern Star of Albany. Survivors: Sons, George (Judy) Smith, Pattonsburg, MO; Charles (Tammy) Smith, Kansas City, MO; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
