Harold V. Davis, Sr., 89 of Albany, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at his home. Mr. Davis was born October 23, 1923 in Albany. He worked as a regional manager for American Family Insurance for twenty seven years and was Associate Circuit Judge of Gentry County, Missouri for twelve years. He also owned and operated a livestock farm. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He graduated from Albany High School and the University of Missouri Law School. He was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church, Athens Lodge #127 A.F & A.M., Royal Arch, Council, Commandery, past Moila Temple member, American Legion, Missouri Bar Association and Missouri Senior Judges Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Harold, Jr., and step-son, David Herndon. Survivors: wife, Helen; sons, Jeffrey and James; step-children, Steve Herndon, Susan Crawford and Jan Goff; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, W.R. Davis; sisters, Kathleen Lykins and Dorothy Deal. Memorial Service: 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. The body has been cremated.
