Harold "Beanie" Owens, 67 of Albany, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his home. Beanie was born August 19, 1946 in Harrison County, Missouri. He was the son of Paul W. and Hazel (Cook) Owens. His father preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Paul Eugene Owens, daughter, Kimberly Dale Owens, brothers, Richard and Andy Owens and sister, Becky Gach. On January 12, 1977, he was united in marriage to Roberta Porter. Beanie was a retired HVAC Specialist and was the head trapper for Owens Fur Company. Survivors: wife, Roberta "Bert" Owens, of the home; sons, Jesse Owens and Travis (Traci) Owens, all of Albany; grandchildren, Jayden, Garett, Jared, Daniel, Haylee, Payne, Kayla and Romeo; great-grandchild, Adriana; mother, Hazel Owens, Albany; brothers, Ted (Betty); Steve (Janet); Hal (Sonya) all of Albany; Carl (Elaine), Grant City; sisters, Carolyn Munez, Kansas City, MO; Kathy (John) Overly and Barb (Mike) Stewart, all of Albany. Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Monday, May 19 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Blythedale, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, where friends may call anytime after 2:00 PM on Sunday at the chapel.
