Helen Rosalie (Kate) York, 90, of Albany, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry, Missouri.

Rosalie, the daughter of James Mart and Lottie Samantha (Merritt) Parker was born March 9, 1928 in Atchison, Kansas.

On June 11, 1948, Rosalie was united in marriage to Maurice W. York. He preceded her in death May 10, 2016.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill Parker.

Rosalie was a lifetime church pianist. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Albany.  After her retirement from various jobs, she was a volunteer at the South Harrison Elementary School Library in Bethany.  She enjoyed her family, friends and traveling.

Survivors: sons, Terry (Janna) York, Waco, TX; Steve (Paula) York, Bethany; daughters, Sue (Neal) Rucks, Willmar, MN; Jani York, Albany; 7 grandchildren, Matthew York, Melody (Jose) Zuniga, Kim (Jason) Berman, Justin (Kristin) Rucks, Kellee Rucks, Kristin (James) Slatten, Aaron (Crystal) Craig; 9 great-grandchildren, Miriam, Jahzi and Wesley Zuniga, Parker and Holland Rucks, Evan and James Craig, Shea and Cali Slatten; sister, Janice (Lewis) Barton, Merriam, KS.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, April 14 at the First Baptist Church in Albany with burial in the Carter Cemetery, New Hampton.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church, where friends may call anytime after 11:00 AM.
