Helen Marie Robertson, 81 of Excelsior Springs, Missouri and a former resident of Albany, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the North Kansas City Hospital. Helen, the daughter of Homer and Bernice (Hulett) McDaniel was born February 5, 1933 in Daviess County, Missouri. On December 26, 1950, Helen was united in marriage to Edsel Eugene Robertson. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Charles Jarvis, 6 great-grandchildren and one brother, Garold McDaniel. Helen worked for the City of Albany before retiring. She was a member of the Heath United Methodist Church of McFall, Missouri. Survivors: daughters, Diana Jarvis, Excelsior Springs, MO; Kathy (Jerry) Franks, Kearney, MO; sisters, Norma (Carl) Crone, Pattonsburg, MO; Nancy (Loren) Carter, Lawson; brother, Joseph (Joyce) McDaniel, Cameron; 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 25 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the McFall Cemetery, McFall, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Tuesday morning.
