Iva Dene Beryl "Denie" Zlatos was born December 29, 1923 to Fred and Elizabeth (Mount) Ebersole in Martinsville, Missouri and passed suddenly from a highway collision on July 30, 2014 at the age of 90. Mrs. Zlatos was a graduate of Albany High School and Caster's Beauty Academy in St. Joseph. She married Rudolph Zlatos in 1950 and they spent the next 38 years in Decatur, Illinois. After Mr. Zlatos's death in 1988, she returned to live in Albany. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Don Ebersole, Survivors: her only child, Christy Zlatos (Doug Robinson) Washington State; one sister, Merle Ebersole, Albany, MO; two nephews, William Ebersole, Poplar Bluff, MO; David Ebersole, Reedville, VA; several nieces, great nieces, and great-great nephews. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 5 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.
