Jack Gardner, 87, of Albany, Missouri, passed away April 7, 2023, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri.
Jack was born July 28, 1935, in Clifton City, Missouri. He was the son of William Henry and Beulah Mae (Pruett) Gardner.
On August 1, 1959, Jack was united in marriage to Karen Wehner. She preceded him in death April 10, 2021.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, son, Tim Gardner, brothers, Cliff, Calvin, Terry and C.W. Gardner, and a sister, Betty DelaCruz.
Before retiring, Jack worked as a logger, owning Albany Logging Company.
Survivors: son, Scott (Teri) Gardner, Chillicothe, MO; grandchildren, Callie, Jessica, Jordan and Carly Gardner; daughter-in-law, Teri Gardner, Albany, MO; brothers, Guary Gardner, Elmer, MO; Joe Gardner, Breckenridge, MO; Albert "Curley" (Arlene) Gardner, Pattonsburg, MO; sisters, Thelma Mallett, New Cambria, MO; Mary Allred, Breckenridge, MO; Carolyn (Jay) Crooker, Sedalia, MO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Al & Linda Kennett, New London, MO; Jim & Debbie Shoemaker, New Cambria, MO; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Graveside Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 12 at New Friendship Cemetery, Albany. There is no scheduled family visitation. Open calling hours 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.
