Jacquelen "Jackie" Jean Davis, 71 of Liberty, Missouri and a former resident of Independence, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Jackie, the daughter of Pete and Guynetha (Pruden) Peterson was born May 16, 1937 in Albany, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father. On February 8, 1957, she was united in marriage to Howard C. Davis. He preceded her in death February 5, 1983. Before her retirement, Jackie worked as a unit secretary for Belton Research Hospital for 12 years. Survivors: Sons, Frank Davis, Blue Springs, MO; Fred Davis, Lee's Summit, MO; Daughter, Laura Davis, Blue Springs, MO; Mother, Guynetha Barker, Liberty, MO; Sister, Trudy Glaser, Thornton, CO; and 5 grandchildren.
