James Marvin Constant, 78, of Darlington, Missouri, passed away at his home on January 27, 2025. He was born September 22, 1946, to Gilman and Maxine (Consolver) Constant in Darlington, Missouri. His parents preceded him in death.
Jim graduated from Albany High School, class of 1965. He was in the National Guard for 6 years and worked on the farm. He went to Kansas City, Missouri and worked as a maintenance worker for a school. Jim later worked for his brother Bill doing carpenter work for 10 years while living in Darlington. Jim loved yard work and gardening, only to give it all away to people.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Bill, and Brenda Constant of Albany; nephew, Jacob, and Alicia Constant; two great nieces, Kamryn and Kaci all of Albany, as well as cousins and friends, especially Danny and Tammy Weatherd.
A Gathering for Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 12:00 PM at the Darlington Baptist Church.
