James W. Swan, 94 of Albany passed away, Friday, December 24, 2010 at an Albany hospital. James, the son of William and Margaret (Gibson) Swan was born July 15, 1916 in New Hampton, Missouri On November 1, 1942, he was united in marriage to Louise Knisley. James was a farmer and attended the First Baptist Church in Albany. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Swan. Survivors: Wife, Louise Swan, Albany; Sister, May Baker, Gallatin; Several nieces and nephews.
