James (Jim) Woldt Jr. was a 58 year old father and husband who passed away on Sunday, August 14th after a motorcycle accident on I-90 in South Dakota. Jim was a long time truck driver that called South Dakota, Missouri and Arizona home. He will be greatly missed and loved by his wife Georgia, his mother Pat, five brothers (his twin/Dave, Joe, Mark, George, and Art, 8 children: Brandi (Aaric), April (Aaron), Jennifer (Kris), Jayme (Scott), Bobbie (Doug), Dennis (Hannah), Travis (Missy), and Levi (Shelby), 19 grandchildren and one-great grandson. Jim shared a special relationship with many dear relatives that also considered him as a father figure or "Papa Jim".
Jim was born on November 12, 1957. He grew up on a farm near Rutland, SD and later moved to Howard, SD where he attended school. He enjoyed spending time with his 5 brothers going fishing and "just being boys". He married Rita in 1976 and had two children, April and Travis. He later married Holly in 1989 and had four children; Brandi, Jayme, Bobbie and Levi. Jim and Georgia were married in 2004 and had two children, Jennifer and Dennis.
Jim started his career in trucking early in life. He also spent many years installing and finishing drywall. His love for motorcycles started early and he enjoyed riding with many people, including his twin brother Dave. He enjoyed taking his children snowmobiling, boating, hunting and fishing. Jim spent many days camping at Hart Ranch with Georgia and their grandchildren along with Dave and his family. Later in life, he and Dave spent every day they could on the golf course.
Jim was preceeded in death by his sister Mary, his wife Holly, grandson Tucker and granddaughter Chelsie.
