Jerry H. Atkison Jr. 53, of McFall, Missouri, passed away December 8, 2009 from an auto accident. Jerry, the son of Jerry and Virginia (Decker) Atkison, Sr. of McFall, Missouri was born February 28, 1956 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Jerry was a state certified welder. He worked for V.P. Manufacturing in St. Joseph and for Junior Powell in Albany. Jerry, a kind and loving person, helping anyone in need. He loved fishing, hunting and camping. He will be remembered for his big smile and boisterous laugh. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews for hay rides, and the time he took to always visit and laugh with them. He loved cooking for family and friends with his homemade cooker/smoker. He also loved his Christmas fish pond. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister Alice Atkison, maternal grandfather John W. Decker, paternal grandparents Charles and Gertrude Atkison. Besides his parents, he is also survived by two sons, Dillon Atkison, St. Joseph, MO; Dallas Atkison, Germany; sisters, Ginger (Leland) Graham, Bethany; LaDonna (Chris) Hunt, Nixa, MO; Connie (Kenny) Hudson, McFall; Beckie (Rick Samborski) Atkison, Lathrop, MO; brothers, Rick (Linda) Atkison, Darlington; Danny (Cindy) Atkison, Darlington; several nieces, nephews, cousins; uncles, John (Rosa) Decker; Roger (Danielle) Decker; Jack (Sue) Atkison; aunt, LaVetta Atkison.
