Obituary

Julia Fern (Blair) Wilson, 84, of Albany, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday September 18, 2022.

Julie was born August 29, 1938, the sixth of seven children born to George E. and Gertrude Lowder Blair in Maitland, Missouri.

On January 29, 1960, she married James Wilson at Willow Row Church. They were married 62 years.

She worked many different places in her life. Colonial Manor of Albany, Albany Regional Center, Gentry County Memorial Hospital, Louise Wilson Salon and one of her most favorite positions was taking care of Jay Richmond.

The best word to describe her was probably caregiver. She had a joyful laugh and was always trying to feed anyone that came to visit. Her grandchildren and her great grandchildren were her happy place. She believed the most important and valuable thing you could give anyone was time. She believed in capturing memories and always had a camera which many people are now thankful for.

She was preceded in death by her husband James this past April. Also, her sisters, Dorothy Jahr, Luetta Hines, Peggy Montgomery, Georgia Spring, Thelma Eckles, and brother Roy Blair. Brother and sister in laws, Johnny, Charles Fielding, Arch Ross and Bill Wilson, Pat Snead and Betty Payne and great granddaughter Kaia Wiederholt.

Survivors include her children , Melissa (Ronnie) Anthony, Albany; George (Gaylyn) Wilson, Bonney Lake, WA; Diana Wilson (John) and Kimberly (Ronnie) Shanks, Stanberry; grandchildren, Jamie Gabriel, Chris (Kahlea) Anthony, Trey (Kayte) Anthony, Jocelyn Anthony, Wren (Colt) Warren, all of Albany, Blair Sperry (Warren), Kansas City, Tana (Tommy) Wiederholt, Stanberry and Bobby (Christine) Brown, Colorado; Great grandchildren, Channing Gabriel, Kaylynn Warren, Camden and Tesla Anthony, Aelyn, Cade, and Ari Wiederholt; brother in laws, DeWayne (Jane) Wilson, Gravette, AR; Gene (Sharen) Wilson, Albany; sister in law, Ann Blair, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews that she enjoyed very much as well as a host of friends.
