Larry G. Barber 71 of Kearney, MO passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his home. Larry, the son of Clifford and Bernice (Sego) Barber was born July 23, 1938 in Buchanan County, Missouri. Larry graduated from Grant City High School. On February 22, 1990, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Hartnett. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his Son Brian (Pam) Barber, Lathrop, MO; Daughter Angela VanSciver, Gladstone, MO; Mother Bernice Craven, Albany; Grandchildren, William and Josh Allen, Katie Ann and Andrew Barber, Dustin Pulley and Trevor VanSciver; 3 great-grandchildren; Brother Eddie Barber, New Hampton, MO; Sisters Jeanette Crane, Albany; Addie Kay Saltys, St. Joseph; Step-brothers, Gregg, Brady, Larry and Mark Craven, Liberty, MO; Step-Sister Betty Bonham, Liberty. He was preceded in death by his father Clifford, step-father Ronald Craven, daughter Barbara Barber and one brother Donnie Barber. Larry was owner and operator of Barber Sewer and Ditching Inc.. He was a member of the Northland Elks Lodge in Gladstone.
