Larry Wayne Stamper passed into heaven on July 22, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care center in St. Joseph, MO. He was born on July 20th, 1950 to Georgia Louise Halliday and Ralph Emerson Stamper in Boise, ID. They preceded him in death as did his beloved mother and father -in- law, Ellis and Iris Stephens; Grandson, Austin Stamper; two nephews, Isaac Jackson and Robert Goold; siblings Johnny Stamper, Dean Stamper, Doris Sprague, Helen Erickson, Dorothy Day and Judy Sharon. Larry was united into marriage with Susanne Loraine Stephens on August 6th, 1971, in Maryville, MO. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Cameron, MO. Larry was a gentle giant, a quiet man but with a twinkle in his eye and an occasional devilish grin on his lips. He and Susanne enjoyed life together and were seldom seen without the other. He enjoyed sporting events, dance recitals, competitions and music concerts, especially if his sons and grandchildren were participating. In addition to his wife, Susanne, he is survived by his sons, Shane (Stephanie) Las Vegas, NV, and Steven (Kimberly) Albany, MO. He was button popping proud of his sons and daughter- in-laws. He is also survived by grandchildren, Megan Kline, Elizabeth Stamper, Quincy, Sam and River Costen. And grand- puppies Sully and Simon. He is also survived by his sister Christal (Ed) Kariker and brothers Earl Eckles and Reldon Stamper, his brother and sisters by marriage, Len Stephens, Diane (Clarence) Goold and Beverly(Timothy) Klocko. He was special uncle Larry to his nieces and nephews, Tammy (Mark) Stephens, Summer ( Shane) Robinson, Andy (Katie) Stephens, Shelly (Cameron)Hartl, Douglas Klocko, Larry (Lacey) Jackson, Jeremy (Amber) Jackson, Timothy (Jennifer) Kariker and Kristen Lynn Sinclair. There will be a Celebration of Life on September 20th in Albany, MO. Details will be announced at a later date.
