Laura Margaret (Deason) Johnson, 99 of Albany, Missouri and a former resident of Desert Shores, California, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at King City Manor. Margaret was born October 17, 1916 in Albany, Missouri. She was the daughter of Walter Edward and Maude Ellen (Parman) Deason. She was united in marriage to Johnny Johnson. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Louis, Thomas, Morris, Kerlin, Russell, Robert and Frank Deason, sisters, Mary Gladyce Deason and Louise Deason Gates. Margaret and her husband Johnny owned and operated a heating and air conditioning business together. Margaret was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Albany United Methodist Church. Survivors: Sister, Grace Knight of Robards, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service and Burial: 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 4 at the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. There is no scheduled family visitation, however friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Wednesday morning at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.
